Unfortunately, due to the activities of a small minority in our profession of the double glazing and building industry, the industry as a whole have unfortunately acquired a dubious reputation. For the majority involved in this business sector is totally undeserved, it is therefore always a pleasure to promote the positive and good side of the industry rather than dwell upon the negatives.
Rockdoor one of Composite Door Prices preferred door suppliers has recently been involved in a such positive activity when they were requested by the BBC 1 daytime television programme “Crime Scene Investigates” to assist an elderly couple who sadly became the victims of a burglary whilst they were away on holiday. The programme hosted by Rav Wilding who is a former Crime Presenter and Police Officer is based upon giving support for victims of burglaries, working to secure their homes by giving a security makeover so as the victims can return to their properties in the peace of mind that they are indeed secure.
The installation of a Rockdoor gave an excellent example of what can be done to ensure the security of any home, in this instance the couple’s old timber front door was completely removed and replaced with a high security made to measure Rockdoor, a door which features industry leading levels of security as standard including multi point hook locks, carbon fibre reinforced frame, 50mm thick door sash and cylinder guard protectors.
