The phrase used in the header was apparently the instructions given to the Bugatti design team when they commenced the development of this new model an interesting concept and philosophy and one that would appear to be dictated by a “Money is no object” mind-set.

Clearly Mr Wolfgang Dürheimer must be a protégé of a certain Mr Henry Royce he of Rolls Royce who used a similar phrase some years ago –

Strive for perfection in everything we do. Take the best that exists and make it better. When it does not exist, design it.”

Rolls Royce clearly value this phrase as it is used within their marketing text on their own web site
